Nantahala is located in Macon County in the Mountains of Western North Carolina. There are several communities in Nantahala Township,including, Aquone, Kyle, Otter Creek, Bethel Hill, Hampton Branch, Camp Branch, Fairview, Beechertown and Rowlands Creek.
